T Tenant
What does Tenant mean?

A tenant is the person who may live in a property, and use it according to the duties/obligations set by a freeholder (such as paying weekly/monthly rent). A tenant is also the person who possesses a leasehold agreement, and in both cases the tenant is not the rightful owner of that property. The tenant may be requested to pay for example a rent of £150/week and no other expenses, while others may require the tenant paying for example £250/month plus other expenses (gas, light, and so on). A leaseholder usually is the proprietor for a predetermined period of time, most usually “99 years”, after which period full ownership rights reverse to the initial owner.
