R Registered Title
What does Registered Title mean?

By being an owner of a property, you should be registered at the HM Land Register, who releases a document which actually proves the rightful ownership of that respective property. On it, there will be displayed the title number, name(s) of the proprietor, number of those living in the household and the address the property is located.

The Registered Title has a section called the Charges Register where such important information as a mortgage is being displayed. Anyone can actually verify the register either because he/she simply wants to find out important information about a property, or because one needs to do so in order to prove ownership.
