E Essential Repairs
What does Essential Repairs mean?

Essential Repairs can be actually what a lender will ask from you either even before granting you the loan, or as your mortgage advances in it term. You may ask yourself why a lender would ask you to make certain repairs to the home like plumbing repairs, heating replacement, certain foundation, roof or even basement problems, and many others.

Well, the basic answer is that up until you pay off your last mortgage repayment, the lender hopes you will get stuck on the way and the property becomes his ownership, and then he definitely made an advantageous business.

The lender wants the property to be in a very good condition from all points of view, so that in case you default with your payments, this can be sold at anytime. Also, if for example you wish to buy a property which is not in a good shape, one condition in order to receive the loan is that you will make the necessary repairs to the respective building.
