B Buildings Insurance – risks usually covered
What does Buildings Insurance –risks usually covered mean?

According to most Building Insurance policy terms and conditions and to the Association of British Insurers, there is a great variety of causes and occurrences against which you can find the perfect needed insurance. There are some insurance companies which offer you a very extensive list of risks usually covered, and also offer integral insurance, meaning it is not only the building of your home that is protected by it, but also the outbuildings belonging to the property, the garage, all the paths, gates, an eventual sports court, terraces and everything else that you can imagine.

Even more, you may find that you also have the option of additional cover insurance, which generally may include the Home Emergency cover, which actually pays for the repairs needed in case of an oil leakage for example. The general risks which are covered in a Building insurance policy are the following:
  • Natural disasters such as Fire, Earthquakes or Lightning provoked damages

  • Accidents provoked by impact from vehicles or even animals; collapse of aerials

  • Leakage of water or oil from different pipes

  • Malicious attacks, thieves

  • Accidental falling of trees
